Over four decades ago, George embarked on his enduring entrepreneurial odyssey. As the Founder and CEO of Greater Alarm, George curated a team of highly motivated individuals that gained nationwide praise for their contributions to growth, innovation, and customer experience in the electronic security, life safety, and custom electronics industry. Following the sale of his company, George was instrumental in developing the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in 2007, a conference focused on the security and life safety industry, where he currently serves as chairman.
In 2011, he initiated his consultancy venture, establishing DECO Ventures LLC. Today, his firm assists entrepreneurs and executives in reimagining leadership, growth, innovation, and customer experience.
George has been honored with numerous business awards for his volunteer service in the electronic security and life safety industry, including California Alarm Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award, induction into the Security Sales & Integration Hall of Fame, and Electronic Security Association’s Sara E. Jackson Award. As a published author of industry articles, keynote speaker, and moderator, George continues in his entrepreneurial journey and life-long commitment to learning from exceptional businesses and individuals.
